the medical industry is in vain

"Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured." Jeremiah 46:11 KJV 

This is talking about Babylon attacking Egypt, but the principle applies to modern medicine, that the more diseases we "cure", the more God sends. 

In full disclosure, doctors "saved my life" when I was a kid by cutting my appendix off my gut. The appendix is a useless thing God put on your intestines to kill you. After all, there just aren't enough ways to kill people.
