how I currently use the phone

 My phone never rings, I check missed calls and call back if I want to talk to them. My voice mail filled up 15 years ago and I never use it.

 The smartphone is the stupidest implementation imaginable for a customer product. The customer cannot control who calls them. You can control what makes your phone ring, but you still get notified and they still go too voicemail. This is so stupid it proves humanity does not deserve to exist. In fact I'm an idiot for using a smartphone.
