small dog

 I almost ran over a small dog recently. There were two teenage girls walking a small dog on the sidewalk. I was in my car coming up behind them. They approached the intersection where I was turning right. They pushed the button to activate the "walk" light. At this point they were slightly ahead of my car and partially blocked by the windshield frame. I slowed down and started turning and as I approached the crosswalk they walked out in front of my car. I stomped on the brakes. The car would have bumped them causing some injury, but it might have run over the cute little dog.
