my experience with the medical industry
As a patient or care giver the medical system doesn't explain what is really going to happen, until the last minute. It may be that they would be explaining things millions of times and sometimes the information would be unnecessary. You might just get better by yourself, or die first or go somewhere else. They tend to be vague on things like disease progression and worst symptoms and recovery times. They are generally completely blank on the cost, how much is this costing? Even the internet is not informative. They may not explain things well because there are thousands of things that go wrong with people and if multiple ailments are in play the possible scenarios for treatment becomes too large to explain. But even sometimes they don't tell you the outcome when they really know it. Maybe it's because you will never really be the same again, your glory days are behind you. Also, things dealing with sex organs and defecation and urination tend to be "delicate" issues that even medical professionals find difficult. This life is horrible. I wouldn't subject my worst enemy to this environment.
