the great deception
Our existence is a massive deception being hosted by an infinite being. Jesus says so in Matthew chapter 13. Then Jesus furthers the deception by pushing his disciples to reap the bountiful harvest of human souls immediately. Then Jesus implies that he will be coming back soon for a Day of reckoning. But soon turned out to be a very relative term. Soon might not be for 10,000 years. We don't know when soon is. An angel says that Jesus will return the same way he leaves, implying that the disciples would see him return, without saying that.
Acts.1[11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
The implication is that they will see Jesus return in their lifetime.
