temptation or prayer request ?
Is it tempting God to ask for a healing? Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. What's the difference? God would take action either way. Did you tempt God into healing you? Did God answer your prayer? Is it based on intent? It seems like a challenge either way. We all know, deep down inside, God can do anything. Why won't God do good? Why did God put you in your imperfect state? Some people defend God and God's actions or lack of action. When you're infinite things look different. Please heal me Heavenly Father, in Jesus name I pray. Jesus has all power in heaven and earth. Jesus is all powerful. These are words, do the words produce results? Will God address this at some point? Will God show how much faith you had and how you get faith? Will God show how much faith was required to get different results? What kind of results were possible? Jesus created wine and fish and bread, but no smart phones. A healing changes something that exists or could add missing parts, but it starts with something, and fixes it. Seems easy enough. We can all imagine what the result would be. Why didn't healing become a standard part of Christianity? Ask and receive. The words are in the Bible, why don't they work. Are we the victims? Is God the victim? What's going on? Is any thing going on?
Is it all a lie?
Did Jesus really float off
into the sky?
Did Jesus smile and wave,
goodbye?
It rhymes.
