pain shame suffering

 The only reason we play along with God is pain, shame, and suffering. We might respond to isolation, but with imagination a person could enjoy some isolation. Jesus wields the club of eternal damnation. Without that or some negative consequences a few people would be good, but most would be selfish opportunists. We make some effort to appear "good". Deep down we know we will be judged, but this dimension is so deceptive the judgement seems far away and mostly irrelevant. In Vegas the casinos are able to make money seem like a toy to play with, but God has created life, which makes our soul seem like a toy to play with. It's a massive deception. If we sat at the controls we would be horrified. Our soul is on the line.
