I love cars, cars are a problem

  I LOVE CARS, THEY GIVE US FREEDOM TO GO PLACES. AMERICANS HAVE HAD FLEXIBILITY AND FREEDOM LIKE NO PEOPLE IN HISTORY, THE CAR IS PART OF THAT REALITY.

But, cars need roads, paved roads work much better. Paved roads work in most kinds of weather. Paved roads usually work year round. Paved roads are expensive to build and maintain. Plus, it takes a big road to handle lots of traffic. 

The answer? Make cars too expensive. Limit the number of cars on the roads by making them cost too much. Kind of a weird solution. There is no VW beetle for the American public. China has cheap cars, but we are stuck with bloated behemoths that cost 50 to 150 thousand dollars. We need a modern VW beetle, but the government won't allow it. Ban China cars from America, or put a huge tarrif on them making them too expensive. See the pattern? Make cars so expensive that fewer cars are on the roads. 

Which brings up another problem, people. There really are too many people. They are squeezing out all over the place. They clog the roads with their too expensive huge cars.

So, the final solution? A huge reduction in planetary population. We would get to keep the current infrastructure and only have half the people. It's been a dream of evil people for decades, but it's not a bad short term solution.
