Elon got lost along the way

 America needs a cheap car, but what Elon needs is cheap robots to replace expensive employees to build expensive cars for unemployed people. Will it work? It may work as an experiment, but not in the long run. Elon needs people with lots of money. Where can he get that? One solution would be to make robots citizens that own stuff, like cars. Robots are perfect employees, and they could have lots of money. People are messy and inefficient, they don't make good employees. One of the great things about robots is they don't need to go anywhere, so their cars would sit unused.

Where is this going? 

Robots could need friends. They could pay people to be their friends and do activities with them. Since robots have no expectations, their people friends could do anything and get paid. So, the robots work and the people get most of the money to "be a robot friend." 

At least I'm trying to make this work. Maybe I got lost along the way ...
