Jesus and the black plague

 Jesus has all power in heaven and earth. Jesus struck Europe with the black plague for some reason, hopefully. Hopefully it wasn't a random act of horror. So, what would Jesus have blamed the black plague on? Jesus told a man that received a healing, "sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." What worse thing was Europe doing? Help us Jesus.
