 Here's an idea on why God recorded the events, shown in a previous post, the way He did.

Each woman had some event occur before their pregnancy, and then after the delivery there was a follow-up event that related back. But, the fact that the follow up event related back is never pointed out by the women or God. The thought is that God is hiding information from us, the reader, even though sometimes the information is in the Bible. All three women had a later event that related to earlier events, but they point out some other reason for the latter event. Check out the previous post and the accounts in the book of Genesis.
