confusing Bible lists
So there is a list of the 12 apostles in Matthew, Mark and Luke. None of them read the same. 5 of the names are reported the same in the same list position. There is one name that doesn't read the same at all, "Judas the brother of James". This name is only in Luke, but appears to be "Labbaeus surnamed Thaddaeus"/"Thaddaeus".
Ten of the names are almost identical, but name 10 and 11 are a mess in Luke. They read different and are reversed from the other two lists.
Another inconsistency is there appears to be a brother relationship that isn't identified or even clarified. It would seem that "James the son of Alphaeus" is brother to "Labbaeus surnamed Thaddaeus", since "Judas the brother of James(in Luke)" appears to be Labbaeus.
The benefit of doing it this way is God makes it a confusing non-deterministic puzzle.
