 There's too many demons. Demons are real, and they are all over the place. By following a strict routine of moving about some demons can be neutralized, but humans are no match for demons. You can't see them, but they have ways of finding you. One of the most discouraging passeges in the Bible is Matthew 17:17-21. Jesus is able to directly cast out a tough demon, but admits that even his elite disciples will have to use prayer and fasting. You and I are basically at the mercy of God, which God doles out sparingly when it comes to battling demons.
