the problem with the American medical industry

The problem with the medical industry in America is the way it's paid for and the fact that malpractice suits can be brought against doctors. Medical Care needs to fall more under the category of veterinary work and failure needs to be an accepted option. Sometimes you get medical care and it fails and you die. If the doctor is found to be criminal in their behavior, in other words they tried to kill you, then they need to be executed right after the trial. There's no stay of execution, there's no appeal; just the death penalty, because you killed one of your patients on purpose. Otherwise you can't be sued for malpractice. You did the best you could do and they died, it happens every day.
Generally there shouldn't be heart surgery, brain surgery or dialysis. These things are extremely expensive and drastically change a person's life, usually for the worse. In other words you're probably better off dead than going through these various extreme procedures or processes. Accept death and move on. I've only known three people to have heart surgery, but all three either died shortly after the surgery or were miserable for the rest of their lives. In other words they all three would have been better off dead in the first place. From this exhaustive research we can safely say that heart surgery is a waste of time.
