Vegas is stupid

 

Gambling wasn't a real big deal until blackjack came along. In the late sixties and seventies when you went into any casino about 80% of the floor was covered in blackjack tables then 15% was covered in slots and everything else was small. The reason everybody was playing blackjack is they found out that the computer found out that you could win if you played good enough. Well actually playing good enough is very difficult to win consistently. Even then it's pretty boring. But they made bazillions of dollars off of blackjack. Every once in a while they would throw somebody out for counting cards, which is how you could win. But that was rare. Well over the years they've screwed up blackjack to where I won't even go near Las Vegas. But you would think that they would come up with a whole bunch of games where it's possible to win if you play good enough but almost impossible to play good enough. But they're just too stupid to figure that out.
