Man versus machine

 Technology has always pitted man against machine. For instance the steam Spike driver. Humans had always laid train tracks, but now machines were replacing them. That was at least 150 years ago. and machines are constantly replacing people. But artificial intelligence feels different. It threatens to replace everyone. It can replace managers, CEOs, Bank personnel, analysts, politicians, name any person and it can replace them. We don't need anyone, because there's now an intelligence that's going to surpass humanity. Humanity itself will be excess baggage.
