 God created everything. 

In the Old testament God slaughtered people repeatedly. There appears to be a larger plan at work. It's about individuals and it's also about groups of people, as a whole.

To start things off, God puts a couple of country bumpkins in with the wisest, smartest, most evil creature that will ever exist, Satan. Then God wanders off and allows Satan to destroy people that don't know good or evil.

Also, the Bible doesn't say if Adam knows what death is, or the short term consequences of being kicked out of Eden and landing in this disgusting filthy dung hill.

It's cruel, it's diabolical,
