women were created for men

 The old and new testaments say that women were created for men. So, why does God usurp man's responsibility by cursing woman during the process of cursing Satan, man, and the earth? If woman is under man's responsibility it seems that man should have determined woman's punishment. 

Also, since woman failed fastest first it seems appropriate for God to curse man and offer to replace woman with new and improved woman 2.0, hence increasing his chances of success from then on.
