Money doesn't come out of thin air

 In today's world money does just that; it comes out of thin air.  When the government gave everyone a 5 trillion dollar covid stimulus package, they didn't print any money. They didn't aquire any gold. They typed $5,000,000,000,000 into a computer and started "sending" money to Americans.
