too many people

 The problem is people. There are too many people. There were too many people in Central America before the Spanish showed up. The Indian tribes were slaughtering each other for land. There've actually been too many people all the way back to Sodom and Gomorrah. In fact it only took a few hundred years after Noah for there to be too many people on the planet. Now God could have kept people spreading out evenly and then stabilized at some minimal level of population so there would be about the right number of people. Also there needs to be enough ready resources that people don't need each other or that there's no benefit from stealing murdering and plundering your neighbors. Then of course the old age old problem of sex. Man, she is smoking hot, I got to have some of that. It just all adds up to a disaster. A disaster created by an Infinite Being that love this world so much that He came and died for our sins.
